May You Rest In Peace Ben

It is with a heavy heart & great sadness that we announce today the very sudden passing of our dear Ben last week...

Ben (on the left) was sober and taken unexpectedly from us, leaving a very big hole in so many peoples lives. After getting sober himself , he went on to help and support many others in turning their lives around.

Ben came onboard to help myself back in 2019 in Essex, when Sober IS Fun really started to pick up pace and needed a second pair of hands to help set up and run the nights.

Ben was instrumental in the setting up of the first The London Alcohol-Free Comedy Club n 2019. He was a technical genius, building our stage from scratch and also designing the The London Alcohol-Free Comedy Club branding, which is in place today.

Many of you would have met Ben there & when we transitioned our shows over to The Back Yard Comedy Club due to the need for a larger show space. Ben stepped back from show duties early 2022, but behind the scenes was still designing artwork for us.

We are so so passionate about keeping Sober IS Fun and The London Alcohol-Free Comedy Club alive in our Bens name, and look forward to welcoming you all to a VERY VERY special show iin January .

This will without doubt be a VERY busy afternoon , and l look forward to making him proud.

Our condolences are with his family and friends .
