"By attending one of the sober shows, you will realise you do not actually need to have booze to enjoy yourself, and will be helping to raise funds to continue the very important work of Taking Action On Addiction.

"We welcome absolutely everybody to join us at these shows. You do not need to be living a life of sobriety to attend. Come experience top stand-up comedy minus the booze!"

The Liverpool gig will feature Steve N Allen, Stefanie Laing, Paul Pirie & Danny Deegan . The London show has Mike Gunn, Ninia Benjamin, Susan Murray & El Baldhiniho on the bill.

Martyn Davies says: ''I'm so excited by this new partnership, and extremely grateful to The Forward Trust to now be able to show more people the fun side of alcohol-free living - whilst raising important funds for TAOA. The Forward Trust & TAOA has a very special place in my heart, and I'm really looking forward to heading out with these new shows and, most importantly, help support the incredible work they do."
